Happy 15th Birthday Playstation

On this day in 1994, Sony launched the Playstation in Japan, we wouldn't see it in other parts of the world until almost a year later, it is its birthday nonetheless.

The Playstation has it's start as a cd add-on concept for the Super Famicon(AKA Super Nintendo) that started in the late 80's, later called the "Play Station". The SNES-CD was to be announced at the May 1991, but when Hiroshi Yamauchi read thl 1988 contract between Sony and Nintendo, he realized the agreement gave Sony control over any titles written on the format, and secretly cancelled the projet.

After the joint projet collapse, Sony decided to take what they had and made a stand alone console , Removed the space from "Play Station", and the Playstation was born.

It would be the first console to reach a Hundred Million units sold worldwide, and even held its ground against the Nintendo 64.

One unepected announcement was that NIS announced NISAmerica is working on localizing Atelier Rorona in North America. SCORE!!

PS3 Slim and $100 price drop

Earlier today In Colonge, Germany at the location of Gamescom Tomorrow Sony Had there own Eary Press Release, where Kaz Hirai  himself came out officially announced the PS3 Slim, and it will be available in all regions by mid September for $299.




On top of that it was announced that the current models price have been dropped to match The Slim's

Now is a good time to get a ps3, whether you wait for the Slim or get the reduced priced current model.

Beat Cross Edge

Today I beat Cross Edge with the true ending! I have yet to see the other endings but I'm sure this is my favorite. My only disappointment was when I realized I wouldn't be able toget everything on normal. I am now playing a second playthrough, then hope to get into playing Atelier Rorona in depth

Dragons and Lunar

As you may know I love dragons(After Mir of course), and this love started with a Game called Lunar: The Silver Star and it's sequel Lunar:Eternal Blue . This series to this day is one of my alltime favorite series, So I was Estatic when I heared about the PsP remake of Silver Star, and even more so when I heared about the NA localization and publisher was Xseed.

Now that I'm feeling better time to get back to my gaming.

Cross Edge has turned out to be really good , I have so much fun just batting constantly . I'm currently in 2-3 and about to move on.


I am also trying to get the true ending since I never did with my Jp copy.

Feelings I don't understand

while every one elese is in a hurry
not caring what anyone says

Birthday Time Again

This time it's my Mother's birthday.

I wanted to get her something nice this year since I have the money to spend , but time ran out on me and I have nothing.

I'm thinking maybe I'll take her to buy her own gift since I'm clueless.

Hectic day

This day has been really crazy for me. It started when I realized some issues on the forums have escalated(wont go into it. most of you know anyway). Then I had to work this morning(I usually work nights), as the boss somhow missed a Lot last night.. didn't get to sleep untill noon.

When I finally got up, I noticed that my package from amazon, A 500 gb Western Digital 500 gb Scorpio Blue 2.5 inch SATA HDD(to upgrade my ps3) and a strategy guide for Folklore, had come a day early.

At this point I took out the old HDD and started to unscrew it from the frame that holds it in place, but they were tight and I striped 3 of the screws... gaaah!!

I have the 500 gb in my ps3 now but without the frame, that will have to do until tomorrow.

One good thing did happen: A friend let me have a couple games for free.

The Star Trek Movie+Game Finds=Good day

I took my mother to see the New Star Trek movie, as a day early Mother's Day gift. Neither of us were disappionted. This movie is so awesome I can't describe it. I can say that even people who don't watch Star Trek can easily enjoy this movie. Great fight scenes, alien monster, Space battles and more. I salute you JJ abrams You made another great movie.


After the movie I went to Gamestop to browse and found a used copy of Folklore and Suikoden Tactics. I been looking everywhere for these and I got them cheap too!!

Maybe they will hold me Until Cross Edge.

Getting Ticked off waiting for Cross Edge

Okay I have been waiting several months now For the Rosenqueen Website to have the Cross Edge Pre-Order available. Supposed to be coming out in two weeks and nothing, nada, zip, zero. I want to wait and see if they have any nice extras, but the wait is killing me!!

While Waiting I have been Playing a Ps3 game I rented called Little Big Planet. This game has a old Platformer(like Super Mario Brothers or Sonic the Hedgehog) feel to it, but with with active multiplayer(at the same time) and online play.
The Coolest feature though is the level creator and community levels. If you are online you can play levels that other players have made or make your own level and publish it in the online community.

Still playing Teirkreis. By the Walktrough I'm using, I am just starting chapter five.

Hopefuly by my next message I will have Cross Edge Pre-Ordered one way or the other.

Yesterday was my sister's dog Mason's Birthday.He is now 2.
I don't know about other People but in my family we treat our pets birthdays just like every one else in our family. We had a little family party then my mother took him to play at the Dog Park.










I Play a Virtual Life game called PlayStation Home, which is a little like Second Life on the PS3 except it doesn't have user generated content and it's still in beta so it's not as advanced, and there is region locking. This is one of the reason I have multiple PSN account's. Well anyways I was in for a treat today Because The EU/UK Home had Star Trek costumes available starting yesterday, and free too! Yay!





I also had a chance to play a little farther in Teirkreis yesterday I have now beaten the caverns, got the second book and passport and am now passing through the check point. I'm hoping to have some more time to play today, but who knows what will happen.

Hello Out There

My sister finaly convinced me to create a blog and here it is. Well lets get on witth it.

Right now I'm currently waiting for Rorona Jp and Cross Edge for N.A To come out.

I have been trying to get into Suikoden Teirkreis, But for some reason every time I try something else need my attention.

I been feeling good lately since I have money to spend since my birthday, but nothing to spend it on, maybe I'll use it to take some collage courses.

Whenever I have something interesting to talk about I'll post it here.
