Another Great RPG year

Sorry to anyone who actually rads my blos for not updating in a long time. some things have been happing in my life.


Last year was agreat year in the rpg sense and thi yrear is starting to look jut as good with it confimed localizations, the list is as follows:

Ar tonelico Qoga Knell of Ar Ciel Announced and Has Sealed My Opinion On Buying Imports New

5 days ago NIS America officially announced Ar tonelico 3 for localization as Ar tonelico Qooga: Knell of Ar Ciel. This is great news imo, but has led me to a somwhat akward conclusion. For the past 3 years I've been importing select games new(Agarest War, X-Edge, Atelier Rorona, WKC, And Ar tonelico 3), and all of these have been localized(or have been announced for one)... coincidence? maybe, but i decided to do a litmus test of sorts with two game I hoped would get a localization: Tale of Vesperia PS3 and Ar tonelico 3.

I bought AT3, while I held off on ToV. Guss what? AT3 is announced, while I have lost hope on Vesperia. Yeah I know Namdai's ficke, but this is just one example.

Guess I'm cursed(or blessed depending on how you see it) with my new import collection being localized.

E3 Time is Here again.

E3 started yesterday.

Mirosoft's conference was pretty lame. the Xbos remodel and giving them away free barely saved it.

Ubisofts was also lame.


EA had the best. Games looked nice, but few I would actually play.

I certainly hope these disappointments are not a trend.

Lunar: Silver Star Harmony< Premium Edition

I got my copy of Lunar Yesterday, and i'm so Happy ^_^

For those of you who dont know Lunar is a series very dear to my heart, Right beside Ar tonelico as my all time favorite RPG series, so when I herd there was a collectors edition I jumped right on it.




The Premium addidion come with a ost containing 34 songs in the game, and "Bromides" with picture of the games female characters, with driscriptions of them and their measuments on the back.

The APOCALYPS3 is over

The incident I mentioned in my last post, now unofficially called the APOCALYPS3, has been resolved by itself. As Fat PS3's internal clock got past the imaginary date of Febuary 29, 2010, full functionality and Psn connectively returned.

Fat PS3's Gimped due to glitch

They're biggest gaming news is Sony's biggest problem: somewhere between 17-22 million PS3's are unable to work properly due to a internal clock glitch.

The glitch set's your clock back to December 31, 1999, and will make it Impossible to access Psn, as well as make you downloadable titles unplayable.

Games That load trophy data at startup are also unplayable.

Sony is currently trying to resolve the issue.

Forgot to post this, since I was too busy actually playing


I'm Loving the battle system, but the game loses me at time due to lack of language comprehension, but overall I've been enjoying the game.

Modnation Racers Beta: A Review

I had a chance to be a part of the Modnation Racers Beta, and I must say I was impressed.

Ever wished you could play a Kart Racing game with a character you created? Or maybe a well known character from you favorite cartoon, anime, or games? Ever Got tired of the same tracks in Mario Kart and wanted to make your own? Or how about making your own cart?

You can do all this in modnation, you can even share your creations online.


The track creator is the most impressive feature. You can create tracks, modify the terrain add item collection point, add, trees, fences, boost points, you can even modify tracks created by other users. And if you only want to create the tracks, the autopopulate feature will do everything else for you.

Great Beta, and the final product will be even better

I've pre-ordered the import of Ar tonelico 3, but the 28th is taking forever to get here.

Happy 15th Birthday Playstation

On this day in 1994, Sony launched the Playstation in Japan, we wouldn't see it in other parts of the world until almost a year later, it is its birthday nonetheless.

The Playstation has it's start as a cd add-on concept for the Super Famicon(AKA Super Nintendo) that started in the late 80's, later called the "Play Station". The SNES-CD was to be announced at the May 1991, but when Hiroshi Yamauchi read thl 1988 contract between Sony and Nintendo, he realized the agreement gave Sony control over any titles written on the format, and secretly cancelled the projet.

After the joint projet collapse, Sony decided to take what they had and made a stand alone console , Removed the space from "Play Station", and the Playstation was born.

It would be the first console to reach a Hundred Million units sold worldwide, and even held its ground against the Nintendo 64.

One unepected announcement was that NIS announced NISAmerica is working on localizing Atelier Rorona in North America. SCORE!!

PS3 Slim and $100 price drop

Earlier today In Colonge, Germany at the location of Gamescom Tomorrow Sony Had there own Eary Press Release, where Kaz Hirai  himself came out officially announced the PS3 Slim, and it will be available in all regions by mid September for $299.




On top of that it was announced that the current models price have been dropped to match The Slim's

Now is a good time to get a ps3, whether you wait for the Slim or get the reduced priced current model.

Beat Cross Edge

Today I beat Cross Edge with the true ending! I have yet to see the other endings but I'm sure this is my favorite. My only disappointment was when I realized I wouldn't be able toget everything on normal. I am now playing a second playthrough, then hope to get into playing Atelier Rorona in depth

Dragons and Lunar

As you may know I love dragons(After Mir of course), and this love started with a Game called Lunar: The Silver Star and it's sequel Lunar:Eternal Blue . This series to this day is one of my alltime favorite series, So I was Estatic when I heared about the PsP remake of Silver Star, and even more so when I heared about the NA localization and publisher was Xseed.

Back in the game

Now that I'm feeling better time to get back to my gaming.

Cross Edge has turned out to be really good , I have so much fun just batting constantly . I'm currently in 2-3 and about to move on.


I am also trying to get the true ending since I never did with my Jp copy.

Feelings I don't understand

My opinions flushed down the drain
My ideas and thoughts left all alone
people who see me dont really see me
just the dried husk left on the bone
feelings of sadness, anger and worry
fill up my recurring days
while every one elese is in a hurry
not caring what anyone says

Oh why why why wont this feeling leave?
why why why does it linger today?
I hope it dosen't stay much longer
i want to hurry and go my own way.
