The APOCALYPS3 is over

The incident I mentioned in my last post, now unofficially called the APOCALYPS3, has been resolved by itself. As Fat PS3's internal clock got past the imaginary date of Febuary 29, 2010, full functionality and Psn connectively returned.

Fat PS3's Gimped due to glitch

They're biggest gaming news is Sony's biggest problem: somewhere between 17-22 million PS3's are unable to work properly due to a internal clock glitch.

The glitch set's your clock back to December 31, 1999, and will make it Impossible to access Psn, as well as make you downloadable titles unplayable.

Games That load trophy data at startup are also unplayable.

Sony is currently trying to resolve the issue.

PS3 Slim and $100 price drop

Earlier today In Colonge, Germany at the location of Gamescom Tomorrow Sony Had there own Eary Press Release, where Kaz Hirai  himself came out officially announced the PS3 Slim, and it will be available in all regions by mid September for $299.




On top of that it was announced that the current models price have been dropped to match The Slim's

Now is a good time to get a ps3, whether you wait for the Slim or get the reduced priced current model.
